Founder & Chief Impact Officer
Having been in the entertainment industry for some time with my first brand ‘Island People’, I felt the desire to bring the energy and excitement of fetes and parties to corporate events. The transition into the corporate world began with a conference for business leaders in 2009 named ‘Eventology’, which is Greek for “the study of events”. This eventually led to the creation of the company of the same name.
Prior to forming Eventology, I received my MBA with a concentration in International Marketing from Long Island University New York, and worked in the advertising industry in New York City. Though I vowed never to return to the classroom, my passion for creating experiential and meaningful spaces for others to enjoy has led me to lecturing at the University of the West Indies, Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business in Marketing and Event Management.
Over the course of my career, I’ve partnered and consulted with various government agencies, tourism organizations and private institutions such as UNICEF, FedEx, Caribbean Airlines, Nestle and REPSOL. Besides all of that, I’d say that I’m really easy to talk to and I enjoy nurturing new talent.
